ART APPAREL INFO AND CARE!
I love creating each individual piece, each is as special as the human wearing it!
Here are my recommendation on keeping your art apparel safe while keeping it clean. I create these with the idea the wearer will be able to use and love the artwork unlike the traditional use of art (on your walls). I use fabric textile paints that are specifically made to stay well on the fabric. I heat seal each one by hand after is has dryed over night. For my bleach apparel, I wash, dry and iron each peice before its packed and shipped. I am very careful to use proper equipment when working with bleach.
Fabric painted apparel :
Hand washing for anything fagile is always preferred but washing on a delicate or speed wash cycle is good as well. Wash with other delicates and like colors. Always use cold water setting, its better for the paint as well as the fabric.
Use a mild soap, no bleach or fabric softeners.
Line drying is a great way to keep your piece looking new. If choosing the dryer try to not add it to a huge load and dry separately. Use on a delicate setting or a low heat setting.
When Ironing place the piece inside out.
Bleach Art Apparel:
Hand washing is preffered, washing in ther machine on a delicate cycle with like colors. Cold water, mild soap with no bleach or fabric softeners.
Low heat tumble dry is fine or line dry. Iron with care.
